Guidelines for Gift Shop Vendor Consideration

Thank you for your interest in selling your products in the Gardens Gift Shop. We enjoy supporting local artisans; however, our items are curated by season, and we are highly selective with our gift shop inventory. We encourage you to share your product offerings with us, and we hope that you understand that not any -- or all -- items submitted for approval will be accepted. [It may be that your product does not fit our current assortment, the price range for the type of product is considered too high, or the product category is currently saturated.]


VENDOR CRITERIA

  1. All products must relate to gardening, trees, plants, insects, nature, Dubuque, etc.
  2. Product costs must be at a wholesale level. If you also sell your items privately, we cannot buy your product at the same price you sell it to the public.
  3. Should your items be selected, the Gardens Gift Shop prefers payment via ACH. All vendors must provide an invoice including the business name/owner’s name, address, email, phone number, and items sold to the Gardens Gift Shop.
  4. If we are interested in your product but do not have the capacity to carry it immediately, we will let you know and keep your information on file. If capacity becomes available, we will re-evaluate your product and see if it still meets our needs. Sometimes items seem like an appropriate fit for our shop, but customers do not respond as expected.
