How to Plant Annuals

Need ideas for summer flowers and plants that give your yard landscape color? Some favorite summer flowers include: Coleus, Lantana, Zinnia, and Angelonia. Each flower offers a variety of colors and textures for your flower bed. The Coleus flower color comes from leaves and some varieties can handle full sun while others need shade. Lantana flowers are heat tolerant and come in vibrant colors such as red, yellow, and orange with some varieties containing multi-colored blooms. The Zinnia flower resists disease better than other flower plants and comes in different varietals. The Angelonia flower lasts through any summer weather conditions. Plant any of these annual flowers for a colorful flower bed. [ Source: BHG.com ]
